The very idea of providing cleanliness and hygiene services at government hospital by Viswajayam foundation is so unique. The relentless work of team VJF at the government hospitals and simultaneously managing to provide food on a daily basis to the underprivileged during the pandemic is commendable. Kudos team VJF! Viswajayam team led by Sekhar Viswanathan has taken up on missionary zeal, infection control and cleanliness at the Royapettah government hospital cancer block and at Heamatology ward in Institute of Child Health, Egmore . They have brought a refreshing change to the wards, blending efficiency and humaneness. There services are gratis to the hospital. Going beyond their original vision, the Foundation also organises nutrition support to health workers, patients and their families around the year. This is a laudable goal, noble in intent and relevant especially in the times of COVID-19 pandemic. Each member of the team deserves to be applauded , especially their leaders who set an example working alongside the team on daily basis. I wish them all success in their initiatives.
